With every coming year, new food trends are popping up. Each more crazy, outrageous, creative and interesting than the next. Every business owner is trying to find the next best thing. Well, I think they struck a gold mine by serving unique flavored and filled doughnuts. The much simpler time times of chocolate glazed doughnuts are gone. Say hello to Boutique doughnut shops which have been popping up all over the world. Serving up unique flavors and fillings, like LA-based Cafe Dulce, which stuffs their doughnuts with Snickers bars. Australia’s Donut Papi offers treats filled with custard, and NYC-based Du’s Donuts come in flavors like banana malt, pear clove, and espresso cardamom. Just by reading about this doughnuts makes one start to drool. This is definitely a must try.
